Prof. em. Dr. phil. Kurt Messmer

Professor emeritus Kurt Messmer was Head of History at the Lucerne University of Teacher Education until 2011, lecturer in History Education at the University of Fribourg CH and member of the Monument Commission of the Canton of Lucerne. Since 2011 he has worked as a freelance historian specialising in history in public spaces. He regularly publishes entries in the blog of the Swiss National Museum.
