Unterrichtsmaterialien zur Geschichte der schweizerischen Frauenbewegung
2024
Teaching materials on the history of the Swiss women's movement
On behalf of the Gosteli Foundation, the Institute for History Education and Memory Cultures is developing a concept for teaching materials on the history of the Swiss women's movement.
The planned project is developing an attractive analogue and digital educational offer for schools at secondary levels I and II. It combines the examination of historically significant sources and current key social issues such as participation, equality and recognition, thus creating a new kind of educational experience for students.
The educational programmes raise students' awareness of the role of women and women's movements in the history of democracy, which are not part of the usual historical canon.
