Spurensuche im Staatsarchiv Uri

Teaching programme for upper secondary level in the State Archives of the canton of Uri
Together with the Uri State Archives, the University of Teacher Education Lucerne has developed a new educational programme for upper secondary schools. Students embark on an extraordinary search for clues. Using regional case studies, they deal with traces from the past and bring them together to form stories.
The programme is structured in three parts and offers documents for preparation in the classroom, a 90-minute workshop on site and teaching suggestions for a follow-up. In the archives of the Central Switzerland region, learners are given the opportunity to understand their surroundings, their lives and experiences as they have evolved historically.
